Tugart is a unique series of area rugs inspired by Tuareg mats, a traditional Moroccan rug made strong to weather the extremes of the Sahara. The handsome TUG-1 area rug from Lemieux Et Cie is handcrafted from jute and leather to provide a rich tactile experience – a stately addition to any space.

  • Designer and entrepreneur Christiane Lemieux founded Lemieux Et Cie with an enduring respect for the creative process. Each item is produced in small batches by master artisans for heirloom-quality appeal you can depend on.
  • Striking diamond patterns are woven into the surface of this contemporary area rug design, the base rendered in light tan tones and the patterns in dark leather. A leather fringe caps each end.
  • Woven from exceptionally soft yarns of jute and strips of leather, Tugart collection rugs provide dependable underfoot comfort without sacrificing rugged durability.
  • Jute and leather rugs perform their best in dry environments. Prevent prolonged contact with moisture by blotting spills immediately using a dry white cloth or a clean sponge.
